Bharati Vidyapeeth the parent body of Bharati Vidyapeeth University was established in May, 1964 by Dr. Patangrao Kadam with the objective of bringing about intellectual awakening and all sided development of the people of our country through education.

Bharati Vidyapeeth is now a leading educational institution in the country, which has created a history by establishing within a short span of 59 years or so 180 educational institutions imparting education from the pre-primary stage to post graduate stage.
